The voluminous great room was designed with extreme care to blend its strong architectural character and exceptional detailing into a dramatic and comfortable space punctuated by its cathedral ceiling, floor-to-ceiling brick fireplace, African rosewood floors and walls of windows to embrace the sun in the winter and the sun-dappled views in the summer. A thoughtfully planned kitchen, with high-end appliances and amenities to please the most discerning of cooks, opens to a large patio with outdoor kitchen, inviting al fresco dining. There should be no need to leave the compound for entertainment. The lodge offers an acoustically engineered media room, sunken bar room with fully outfitted marble bar, library and a commercial gym.
